Last Judgement: The Virgin Mary and four apostles

Colijn de Coter painted this Last Judgement panel showing the Virgin Mary and four apostles for the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium. This panel formed part of a larger Last Judgement ensemble, with the intercessory group of the Virgin and apostles representing the heavenly court that pleads for mercy on behalf of the faithful.
